Three D (3D), with their glasses funny, is not new. Surround sound has been around a long time, too. For those of you too old I remember the curved Cinemascope screen? All these changes have been made to improve our sense of "being there" when you watch a movie in a theater or cinema. But all was something missing …. something I am happy to say that has come to a theater near you. Cinema Digital, in my opinion, is the only major innovation in the industry for decades. The reasons are obvious.
 You can · Now view the image equivalent of high definition television on a screen the size of a house.
 • No need to see a failure to seek third photographic film to the generation that comes with scratches, burn holes and grains.
 • The image is stable as a rock because he was not behind the pine nuts movie recording in a traditional projector.
 • Because the film comes from a hard drive instead of large reels of film, the presentation is not limited to nervous 24 frames per second. Sweet pans are now available because in the digital domain, the algorithms can be applied to correct such replicas.
 • No more clicks and pops. To again, its completely digital.
What motivated me to write this was my vision recent Avatara ®. The scenario is not my bum on the seat in the theater. It was interesting, but not the film's most convincing I've ever seen. As a contractor for a company that manufactures projectors, digital film, here in Ontario (which provides my local theater), I was eager to see the digital projection with 3D technology, could do.
It was clear to me that the same effect could not have been done with a movie based on the 3D. The final was the right time for Mr Cameron to release this epic. The technology does the work. Any device that detected minor, brief and probably not detectable by the general population. This experience was perfect, without defects from corner to corner. I even found the contractions to dodge a bullet seemed to fly off the screen and the right of genius on my head!
What comes after the experience of cinema? In my humble opinion quality and screen resolution are approaching the limits of what Humans can discern. So, maybe the screen will return envelope or holograms. What is the stimulation of other senses such as smell and touch?
And the home theater? If the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is an accurate indicator, 3D high definition is coming to a salon near you. Think about it. Not only do we have to find the remote the couch, but perhaps the 3D glasses.
