panasonic home cinema receiver

Panasonic is the biggest name plasma HDTV. Besides the indisputable quality of delivery of results by the company also sets prices.
Leadership plasma
The largest screen Panasonic plasma offers its range of 65 inches. With its thin design, it can be housed in a smaller room, Also, the viewer does not need to maintain an optimal distance from the screen.
The TH-inch Plasma TV 50PZ700U50 is the jewel the crown of the Panasonic. Offering exceptional quality with deep blacks and colors with high contrast and shadow detail, this 1080p set with a Anti-Reflection screen is competing with large LCD screens in their prices.
Competitive Strategy
Like Samsung, Panasonic plans to launch innovation to safeguard competition in the distance. This intention is clear in the technology used on the faithfulness of backlight LIFIA Panasonic HD LCD projection sets. This allows the brightness of the image that is retained longer than the traditional LCD screen. The Company believes that this fact the bulb will never need to be replaced. Even in the large LCD, the TC-32LX700 is regarded by some as a finalist in Sony with deep blacks and excellent picture quality.
Panasonic is the only brand that offers 1080p resolution in 42 categories. Consumer Reports revealed that Panasonic, Sony is one of the least likely to repair a LCD TV.
However, by Flipside …
LCD Blues
The Panasonic PT-45LC12 45 "HDTV Ready LCD TV has a strong cooling fan who interferes with their enjoyment, even when the volume increases.
The 26 "TC-26LX LCD TV, while the integrated high definition television, instead of an HDTV-ready TV, does not more than 2 or 3 channels are not encrypted, and you need a converter box so you can see the HD program – which will cost $ 6 to 8 per months. This is due to a lack of QAM in all. The Panasonic TC-32LX70 32 "LCD set has the same problem.
Leaders Plasma?
The TH-50PH9UK 50-Inch Plasma HDTV connectivity suffers limited addition of inaccurate primary colors red and green. (This is a problem which faces the TH-58PX600U Plasma 58-inch set, too, which also has a black level fluctuates.)
When tuning customize the TH-50PH9UK for purchase and installation of additional input cards. (N ATSC tuner or cable card.)
The integrated speakers on the TH50PX70 is adequate rather than exceptional.
The basic range of new plasmas lack Panasonic Full HD 1080p capability that models are equipped Luxury.
The 58 "1080p Plasma HDTV flat panel described as noise by the owner of" pathetic. "Apparently, this set is intended to be created with a surround sound system so you do not use the speakers internally. He has many connections to the front and rear HDMI inputs, but they are limited to two. It is a clear oversight, given that many households have a camera HD video and digital cameras equipped with an HDMI output. This set also has a problem with glare, as the new anti-reflective coating reduces not only the reflections of 50%.

You may choose to ignore certain issues that were highlighted in this analysis, if you want to enjoy prices Panasonic offers more than comparable brands, especially in plasma.

Can I use my active sub as a passive subwoofer?
I have a subwoofer from a Panasonic home cinema in a box system. It contains the amp for all the speakers which then run from the back of the sub.
I need to change the source unit and intend to buy a seperate av receiver, but want to utilise the existing speakers for appearance and cost reasons.
So, the question; I have been inside the sub and found the connections to the actual speaker. Can I simply wire this to the av receiver sub output (assuming this is amplified rather than a line level output)?
yes you can! just make sure there is NO other connection to the speaker except your lead from your amplifyer and the old subwoofer is NOT powered! Don’t expect miracles though……..as the old sub and amp were designed to work together and will probably sound better than your new setup…….
